Tell us about your role at MCC
My day starts by reviewing my emails and actioning as many orders as possible before the morning phone order rush begins. I then work with our customers to assist them with their enquiries, which can be anything from repeat orders to new label work, and many other things in between! In the Customer Action Team no two days are ever the same, as there is always collaborating to be done both within MCC and with customers.
What is your favourite part of your role
My favourite part of my role is getting to know the customers, and creating a rapport with them. It makes the job so much easier when you have taken the time to get to know the person and they’re not just a voice on the end of the phone. I also really enjoy seeing the end result of labels, as you can see what all your hard work went into.
What advice do you have for someone who wants to work in labels
The label industry is very interesting as there are many innovative things happening, especially with environmentally sustainable materials. I would say that it is important to have a positive and curious attitude, as there is a lot to learn, and keep learning, about labels!
Why do you love working at MCC
I love the people that I work with at MCC. Everyone that I have worked with has been helpful with their knowledge and advice, and it is nice to know that if you do not know the answer to a question, there will be someone else who will!
What do you enjoy doing when you're not working
When I’m not working I’m usually just at home playing games, otherwise you’ll find me at the supermarket or pub, checking out the labels on everything to see if they are ones that we produce!
