Tell us about your role at MCC

My role encompasses overseeing all aspects of the production process from start to finish. I also ensure the building and site are maintained, health and safety standards remain high and that the production team are continually improving the way we do things.

What is your favourite part of your role

There are two things!

Firstly, implementing improvements and watching them succeed

And secondly, developing people. It’s satisfying when someone starts to grow into their potential

What advice do you have for someone who wants to work in labels

Get an apprenticeship. I think that digital is the future looking forward, but a traditional reel-fed apprenticeship is a great way to join the industry.

Why do you love working at MCC

On a day-to-day basis there is a sense that we are working towards a grand, achievable vision and I proudly see us making strides towards it every day and making it a reality.

What do you enjoy doing when you're not working

Smoking meat on the BBQ, going for a fish, watching sport and not thinking of work.
