Tell us about your role at MCC

I am the Production Planner and Pre-Production Administrator for MCC Sydney facility. I work with the different departments in Sydney, and alongside some key players in Brisbane, to ensure we achieve our DIFOT – delivery in full on time – whilst maintaining our high quality standards. My role is very diverse, and I often help other departments with their work including:

helping to manage the Raw Materials warehouse
assisting in the development of new systems, processes and innovations in the production space
working alongside the Operations Manager in the Sydney facility.

What is your favourite part of your role

My favourite part of my role is the daily challenges that I am presented with, each day is different and that keeps things interesting. I enjoy working hard and getting the reward of a good result at the end of the day.

What advice do you have for someone who wants to work in labels

Labels is a great career path but can also be challenging. A good eye for attention to detail and a willingness to constantly keep learning are essential. I have been working in labels for 14 years now and I am constantly learning new skills.
