Chain of Custody certified labels: an infographic
Understanding the chain of custody process from forest to label
Here we show you the process of making a Chain of Custody (CoC) certified label; tracking it from a tree, through the supply chain and on to our clients.
But firstly; what is CoC certification and why is it important? Chain of Custody (CoC) certification is the mechanism used to track wood material of certified forests, responsible sources and reclaimed material to any point along the supply chain. Each company along the process must be certified to maintain the status of that product.
Our infographic below is helpful in explaining the CoC process for our labels:
Our Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) Chain of Custody certification provides a framework for us to promote responsible forest management. We also have Chain of Custody certification from the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification™ (PEFC™). We were the first label manufacturer in our region to achieve these certifications, and have driven the development of certified papers within our supply chain.
Our team of label experts are available now to detail our range of certified paper label materials. We can even help you promote your environmental credentials by printing an FSC logo on your label. In addition we offer a broad range of other environmentally sustainable label material options.
