The NZPork Conference is an annual event and includes the Annual General Meeting.

It attracts New Zealand pork producers (commercial, wholesalers and feed producers), the wider pork industry including retailers and suppliers. It is the only national gathering of the industry and is always well attended and well publicised.

Hally Labels has supported and attended the event since our relationship began with NZ Pork in 2014. This year’s theme was ‘Together Towards Tomorrow'. 

It included a range of quality speakers including Minister Whaitiri talking to the Code of Ethics with regards to Animal Welfare and challenges facing the industry, Dairy Farmer Geoff Spark, who spoke of his inspiring story of managing Mycobacterium Bovis on his farm and finally extraordinary motivational speakers David Letele and Crusaders Coach, Scott Robertson.

General Manager Murray Davis noted “like so many industries, the New Zealand Pork sector is confronting numerous challenges. It is terrific to see the industry coming together and working incredibly hard to ensure a successful and sustainable future for all those associated with it.
